The Feedlot Lamb Pellets are a high energy and specific protein feed for fattening lambs in a feedlot situation.
Feedlot Lamb Pellets are manufactured in a 4.7mm pellet which increases intake and also results in pellets flowing more freely through self feeds. However care must be taken when feeding in this manner as intake must be controlled when introducing high starch feeds.
Feedlot Lamb Pellets contain a rumen buffer to assist in the prevention of rumen upsets and acidosis along with a rumen modifier (Bovatec ®) to increase live weight gains and feed conversion efficiency while also aiding in the reduction in the faecal shedding of coccidia Eimeria spp.
Feedlot Lamb Pellets are not a complete feed and require hay to be fed alongside them.
